The Jig Bugger is a versatile variant of the classic woolly-bugger great for lakeds and rivers, naturally drifted like a large nymph or retrived. The heavy tungsten bead finds depth quickly and combing with the jig hook imparts an awesome 'jigging' action to this fly when retrieved or bobbed under an indicator; especially if it's attached to the tippet with a tiny loop knot. The jig hook also gets the fly riding point up so it's perfect for bashing bottom on the swing and not getting hung up as much as a hook point down fly.
