Meet the Portal 2, SlingFin's 2-person freestanding tent, tipping the scales at just 1.3 kgs (minimum weight). This tent is proof that you don’t have to sacrifice strength, features, or durability just to shave off some weight.

The flysheet is made from 10D Nylon 66 Ripstop silicone-coated fabric, which offers stellar UV resistance, quick drying times, and incredible mould/mildew resistance. Unlike PU coatings, the 20D PE-coated floor fabric is lightweight, durable, and doesn’t absorb water, so it stays dry and won’t turn into a smelly, flaky mess over time. Plus, the pre-installed spare sliders on all zippers double their lifespan, ensuring you won’t be stuck with a malfunctioning tent 90% of the way through your adventure! Oh, and if it starts to rain? No worries—the Portal can be set up fly-first to keep the inner tent dry.

Seam Sealing Note: The seams on the Portal's flysheet are highly water-resistant and will handle light rain just fine without being seam sealed. However, the three seams directly above the tent poles should be seam sealed for maximum waterproofness in extended, heavy rains.
