We recommend the float/hover/intermediate as the perfect all-rounder for big Aussie natives fishing subsurface, with different weighted flies you can drop your offering to the proper depth in the snag and hold a fly in a fishes face for longer. Even with big enough poppers you can also throw surface flies as the intermediate head won't sink popper heads but it will pull them under on the retrieve for extra "Blooping" power.
