The Clouser is a tried and tested saltwater pattern that is fished around the world, catching a variety of species. First tied in 1987 by Bob Clouser, a Philadelphian fly guide. The fly was originally intended to catch smallmouth bass, but it soon became apparent that the pattern was effective across fresh and saltwater species. The legendary Lefty Kreh has caught 63 different species on this one pattern alone.

Fulling Mills Salty Clouser in Chartreuse is perfect for estuary, rock, flats and offshore fishing. Bream, flathead, Aussie salmon and bass will not be able to resist this baitfish imitation. The pattern is tied on the legendary Gamakatsu hooks with bucktail, synthetic fibres and flash, the lead dumbbell eyes give the fly a life-like look and help to get the fly down fast. Available in size 2/0, 2, 6.

This versatile pattern can crossover to freshwater and be used to target yellow belly and trout, in lakes and rivers.
