Intended for my outdoor pursuits. Just put my top spec domestic home water filter to shame. Now it’s a part of the family home and on the backroads. My background plumbing “tapping my nose atm” mates in domestic & industrial water treatment gurus. If you do the math it’s a bargain. And the guys at toms don’t muck around. Great service!

I recently purchased this water filter , after it being recommended by a guide i’d Recently spent an overnight trip in the backcountry with. He used it on our trip, and seeing it in action, it provided us with cristal clear cool drinking water over a couple of days, .. after only a few pumps of the handle ... our water bottles were continually full . I received my water filter literally the next day via express post as asked for, just in time for a spare of the moment 3 day fishing trip in the snowy mountains. Our trip consisted of hike in and out of remote streams and rivers, and the msr filter was invaluable to keeping us hydrated through out the day , especially through out the heat of the middle of the day! We could not have reached our objectives over those three days without the msr filter. When you know you have the best quality , compact , easy to use water filter around, it gives you confidence to venture far and wide in the pursuit of that fish you want to catch in that remote , rarely visited part of a river or stream .
