HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
Simms Fishing Products was founded in 1980 by John Simms, a fishing guide from Jackson, Wyoming, who recognized the need for better waders and fly fishing gear. In 1993, the company was purchased by K.C. Walsh, a passionate fly fisherman and businessman who moved the company to Bozeman, Montana, a hub of fly fishing culture. Since then, Simms has been at the forefront of innovation in the industry, being the first to introduce breathable Gore-Tex waders. Under Walsh's leadership, Simms has continued to develop new products and technologies that meet the evolving needs of anglers. The company remains dedicated to supporting the fly fishing community and preserving natural habitats through various conservation efforts.
